- <p> Many a grown man has found that he can't get his mother
- off his back. SYLVESTER STALLONE hopes to shrug off the problem
- with a laugh. In the upcoming comedy Stop or My Mom Will Shoot,
- Sly is a cop and Golden Girl ESTELLE GETTY is his mother, who,
- says Stallone, "still has her very long apron strings wrapped
- around her son's throat." Sly hopes the change from macho man to
- mama's boy will temper his tough-guy image. So which is harder,
- breaking villains' faces or tickling funny bones? "My other
- films bruise me outside. Comedy bruises internally." Or, to
- paraphrase Edmund Kean, Killing is easy. Comedy is hard.
