  17. <p>     Many a grown man has found that he can't get his mother
  18. off his back. SYLVESTER STALLONE hopes to shrug off the problem
  19. with a laugh. In the upcoming comedy Stop or My Mom Will Shoot,
  20. Sly is a cop and Golden Girl ESTELLE GETTY is his mother, who,
  21. says Stallone, "still has her very long apron strings wrapped
  22. around her son's throat." Sly hopes the change from macho man to
  23. mama's boy will temper his tough-guy image. So which is harder,
  24. breaking villains' faces or tickling funny bones? "My other
  25. films bruise me outside. Comedy bruises internally." Or, to
  26. paraphrase Edmund Kean, Killing is easy. Comedy is hard.
